A deterministic scoring model compares your brief against each consultant's expertise, industries, titles held, and past outcomes. Every match shows its reasons so you can judge it yourself, and you can search the full directory at any time.

Can I compare proposals side by side?

Yes. Select up to four proposals to see approach, milestones, timeline, total cost, and verification status in one table.

Can I interview consultants before deciding?

Yes. You can message any consultant who has proposed and schedule video calls from inside the thread. Nothing is binding until a contract is signed and a milestone is funded.

Who is eligible to join?

Leaders with at least eight years of healthcare experience including a director-level or higher operating, clinical, or financial role. Independent consultants and boutique firms are both welcome.

What does verification involve?

Identity and liveness, corroboration of leadership roles from the last ten years, certification checks with issuing bodies, and OIG, SAM, and state exclusion screening. It typically completes in five to seven business days.

No. You may work with any client you find elsewhere. Engagements that start on R-Owl must stay on R-Owl for the duration of the contract.

How does escrow work?

The client funds each milestone up front. R-Owl holds the funds in a segregated account until the client approves the deliverable. Funds will be released upon completion, or according to a dispute decision.

What are the fees?

Organizations pay a 10% platform fee on top of the engagement value at funding. Consultants pay an 8% service fee deducted at payout. There are no subscriptions.

ACH, wire transfer, and corporate card for organizations. Consultants are paid by ACH to a verified US bank account.

Can a funded milestone be refunded?

Yes, in full, if it is cancelled before the consultant submits the deliverable. Partial deliveries are handled through the dispute process.

A named R-Owl reviewer completed identity, employment, certification, and sanctions checks on a specific date. Checks are re-run every 90 days and the mark is removed if any check fails.

How are disputes resolved?

Either party can open a dispute on a milestone. A reviewer examines the contract, acceptance criteria, deliverables, and thread, and issues a decision within ten business days. Funds stay in escrow until then.

What is the off-platform policy?

Moving an active engagement off R-Owl to avoid fees is a breach of the terms for both parties and results in account suspension. Reporting an off-platform request is free and confidential.

How is our data protected?
